Privacy policy
In short: Movable works without an account, and everything you record is stored on your phone. The app has no ads and no third-party analytics. Below, point by point: what is stored, what can leave your phone and when, and how to delete it all.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Movable is developed and maintained by 0xLaki, an independent developer.
Contact us: rom444k@gmail.com.
2. What is stored on your phone
You can use Movable without an account. Everything listed below is kept in the app's storage on your phone and never reaches us: the current version does not send anything to our servers.
- your answers from the setup: name, sex (optional), age, height and weight, goal, level, where you train, equipment, how many times a week and for how long you are ready to train;
- the limitations and sore spots you marked – only so that we don't suggest exercises that don't suit you;
- workouts: history, sets and weights, your “how it went” rating, records and streak;
- your “How are you today?” answers, sleep and water records;
- nutrition: food entries, calories, protein, fat and carbs, supplements you ticked;
- weight by day and body measurements;
- your profile photo and progress photos;
- settings: language, theme, reminders, Home layout.
Some of this information is about your health and fitness. It is used only to make the app work: to build your plan, show your progress and avoid suggesting what doesn't suit you.
3. Camera and photos
- The camera is used only when you take a picture yourself: a profile photo or a progress photo. You can refuse the permission and pick a photo from your gallery instead.
- Gallery photos are picked through the Android system picker: the app receives only the picture you chose and has no access to the rest of your gallery.
- Your profile photo and progress photos are stored in the app's private folder. They are not sent anywhere and don't appear in your phone's gallery.
- Progress photos can be locked with a four-digit passcode. The passcode itself is not stored – only its hash, on your phone. While the passcode is on, the photo screen can't be captured in a screenshot and isn't shown in the recent apps list.
4. Android backup
If Google backup is turned on on your phone, Android itself saves app data to your backup in your Google account, so it comes back when you change phones. That backup belongs to you and is managed in your phone settings; we have no access to it.
We excluded progress photos from the cloud backup: they stay only on your phone.
5. Notifications
Workout reminders are scheduled by the app on your phone: nothing is sent anywhere for them. You can revoke the notification permission in Android settings.
6. Movable and Gustable
Gustable is a separate app made by the same team, Asuras Int. If both apps are installed on your phone, tapping “What to cook” in Movable opens Gustable and passes it three values: how many calories and how much protein are left for today, and what kind of day it is – regular, after a workout or a rest day.
Gustable can send a dish to Movable – its name, calories, protein, fat and carbs; it is added to your diary only after you confirm. The exchange happens between the apps on your phone, with no servers involved.
What Gustable does with the values it receives is described in its own privacy policy: gustables.xyz/en/privacy.
7. Sign-in with Google
Sign-in with Google will arrive in a separate update. Until then Movable has no accounts and this section does not apply to you.
Once sign-in is available and you use it, we will receive your email address, name and account ID from Google; your Google password is never shared with us. Your account will store: your name in the app, sex, age, height, weight, goal, level, calorie and macro targets, the avatar you chose, finished workouts (name, duration, estimated calories, muscles worked, date), water by day and a technical token for notifications.
Your profile photo and progress photos are not uploaded to the account. Sign-in and storage use Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging); account data is kept on Google servers.
8. Food scanner and AI
In the current version the food scanner and the AI coach are turned off: food photos and messages are not sent anywhere. When these features start working, a photo of your dish will be sent to a server for recognition; before that we will update this policy and say which service receives the data and why.
9. Subscription
All Movable features are currently free. If a paid subscription appears, it will be paid through Google Play: Google processes the payment, and your card details are never shared with us.
10. What we don't collect
Location, contacts, call and SMS history, microphone recordings, the advertising ID. Movable has no ads, no third-party analytics and no crash reporting. Voice prompts are spoken by your phone's own speech engine.
11. Who receives your data
No one: in the current version your data does not leave your phone, apart from your own Android backup. After sign-in with Google appears, account data will be stored with Google (see “Sign-in with Google”).
We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
12. How to delete your data
- a single progress photo – on the “Progress photos” screen; your profile photo – in the avatar picker;
- everything at once – Profile → settings (the gear) → “Delete my data”: your profile, workouts, nutrition, progress and photos are deleted;
- uninstalling the app erases all of its data from your phone;
- once accounts exist, you will be able to delete your account in the app and on the “Data deletion” page.
13. Children
Movable is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not designed for younger children. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their data, write to rom444k@gmail.com and we will delete it.
14. Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page. The app will tell you about significant changes – such as the arrival of accounts – before they take effect.
